Terms of Service.
Last updated: May 31, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at comfortkingshvac.org and the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) services provided by Comfort Kings HVAC (“Comfort Kings Heating & Cooling,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website, requesting a quote, or scheduling service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
Our services
We provide residential HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance services in San Diego and Southern Riverside counties. The specific work to be performed, materials used, and price will be described in the written estimate or invoice we provide for your project. That estimate or invoice, together with these Terms, governs the work we perform for you.
Estimates, quotes, and pricing
- Estimates and online estimator results are approximate and provided for planning purposes. A firm, written quote is given after we evaluate your home and system.
- Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote. Pricing may change if the scope of work changes, if conditions are discovered that were not visible during the initial assessment, or if material costs change before work is authorized.
- We will not perform work beyond an approved quote without your authorization. If additional work is needed, we will explain it and obtain your approval before proceeding.
Scheduling, access, and cancellations
- You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your property and equipment so we can perform the scheduled work.
- If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please contact us as early as possible. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments affected by weather, supply availability, emergencies, or circumstances outside our control.
Payment terms
- Payment is due as stated on your quote or invoice, typically upon completion of the work unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing.
- We accept payment through the methods identified at the time of service. Online booking and payment are processed through our third-party provider, Housecall Pro.
- Past-due balances may be subject to late charges and collection costs to the extent permitted by California law.
Workmanship and warranties
We stand behind our work. Labor on our installations and repairs is covered by our workmanship warranty as stated on your invoice. Equipment and parts are covered by the applicable manufacturer's warranty, which is provided by the manufacturer and subject to its terms. Warranties may be void if equipment is serviced or altered by others, used improperly, or not maintained as recommended.
Except as expressly stated, our services are provided “as is” and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your home, system, and the issue you're experiencing.
- Secure pets and clear access to work areas before our technicians arrive.
- Maintain your equipment as recommended, including changing filters and scheduling routine maintenance.
- Promptly notify us of any concerns with completed work so we can address them.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot be limited under California law.
